Meet Cory M. Miller
Cory M. Miller is a creative director, entrepreneur, and former professional rollerblader based in Southern California. His work focuses on developing artists, building creative platforms, and shaping environments where performers can grow both artistically and professionally.
Cory first developed his creative instincts through the world of professional inline skating, traveling and competing during the height of the sport’s popularity. During that time he began experimenting with capturing movement from within the action, often skating with a camera to film athletes and street sessions from an immersive perspective. That experience sparked a lifelong interest in documenting creativity and building media around movement culture.
As digital platforms began reshaping the entertainment industry, Cory became an early adopter of YouTube and online media as tools for building creative brands and communities. Through video production and digital storytelling, he helped contribute to the growth of dance content online and supported the development of several highly viewed platforms centered around choreography, training, and artist development.
Cory is the co-founder of The Brea Space, one of the most respected commercial dance training environments in the United States, and the creator of The Space TV, a digital platform dedicated to dance education, choreography, and artist storytelling. Alongside his wife, master teacher and choreographer Krista Miller, he has spent more than a decade mentoring young artists pursuing careers in entertainment.
Their programs—including the highly regarded Launch mentorship program—focus on developing not only technical ability but also discipline, professionalism, and long-term creative identity. Many artists emerging from The Space have gone on to work in television, film, tours, and major entertainment productions.
Cory also co-hosts the podcast Inside The Space with the Millers, where he and Krista sit down with dancers, choreographers, and creative professionals to explore the realities of building careers in the entertainment industry. The podcast offers behind-the-scenes conversations about artistry, mentorship, and the evolving landscape of professional dance.
In addition to his work in artist development, Cory leads creative direction across a range of media projects connected to The Space ecosystem, including live events, digital platforms, documentary storytelling, and the upcoming dance-driven project The Space Between, which explores the journey of young artists navigating the transition from training to professional careers.
Cory’s perspective as both a creative leader and mentor is deeply personal. His daughter Autumn Miller is an internationally recognized dancer and early YouTube dance personality, and his son Harbor Miller is a professional soccer player within the LA Galaxy system.
Through creative direction, mentorship, and media development, Cory continues to build platforms that empower artists and celebrate the dedication required to pursue a life in the arts.
