CORY & KRISTA MILLER BRING
THE SPACE BETWEEN
TO AUDIENCES ONLINE

Produced by the husband-and-wife creative team behind The Brea Space and The SPACE TV, the feature documentary captures a generation of young artists navigating the space between training and a professional career.

BREA, CA – August 18, 2026 – After nearly a decade spent developing and mentoring young artists through The Brea Space, Cory and Krista Miller have taken that experience to the screen with The Space Between, a feature-length documentary now available exclusively on TheSpace.TV.

Produced by Cory and Krista Miller through The SPACE TV, The Space Between was filmed over the course of an entire training season and follows young artists inside The Brea Space’s Launch Training Program as they confront one of the most uncertain and defining periods of their lives: the transition from student to professional.

For the Millers, the film grew out of years spent witnessing what happens beyond the classes, auditions, and performances, he quieter moments of doubt, discovery, mentorship, sacrifice, relationships, and personal growth that ultimately shape an artist.

“Krista and I have spent years watching young artists come through our doors with enormous dreams,” says producer and director Cory Miller. “We realized the most meaningful part of their story wasn’t simply whether they booked the job. It was who they became while pursuing it. We wanted to make a film about that space, the distance between where you are and who you’re trying to become.”

Krista Miller’s perspective as an educator, mentor, choreographer, and longtime advocate for young artists became an essential part of the film’s foundation. Together, Cory and Krista approached the documentary not simply as a record of a training program, but as an opportunity to capture the emotional reality of pursuing a creative life.

Blending intimate documentary storytelling with original cinematic musical sequences, The Space Between moves between real-life experiences and visual storytelling. Its musical chapters explore what often lives beneath the surface of an artist’s journey, the pressure to succeed, the uncertainty of what comes next, the importance of mentorship, the struggle to remain authentic, and the resilience required to keep moving forward.

Filmed throughout the 2025–2026 season, the documentary captures the highs, lows, breakthroughs, relationships, and defining moments that occur as young artists begin stepping beyond the security of training and toward the realities of a professional career.

The Space Between is produced & directed by Cory and Krista Miller, The SPACE TV and Lauren Duncan.

The film features choreography by Tyce Diorio, Jessica Richens, Alexis Rowland, Lonni Olson, Lacey Schwimmer, Ava Bernstein, Christina Grady, and Janelle Ginestra.

Cinematography and Editing is credited to Joshua Bowen, Cory Miller, Ryan Fleming, Chris Ray, Parker Siglin, and Lauren Duncan.

The Space Between premiered theatrically on May 13, 2026, at the El Portal Theatre in North Hollywood, with two sold-out screenings. Following its theatrical premiere, the film is now available to audiences everywhere for the first time.
